Into Tuscany Tours: Terms and Conditions

Welcome to our small group tours to the micro-region of Tuscany. The following Terms and Conditions will apply to your trip.

 It is your responsibility to read and understand these Terms and Conditions and how they might affect your trip. If you have any questions please reach out to giuditta@intotuscany.com. We are happy to clarify any doubts you might have.

This agreement supersedes all previous oral and written communications and agreements between the parties and applies to all tours organized by Into Tuscany and sold on this website.

1. Introduction  

Into Tuscany LLC is a limited liability company registered in the State of Oregon located at 2662 Laurel Hill Dr. Eugene, OR, 97403. 

By purchasing a tour from Into Tuscany, you, the Participant, automatically accept and agree to the Terms and Conditions outlined in this document.

2. Tour pricing and details

a. Due to the boutique nature of our tours, Into Tuscany reserves the right to add, withdraw and substitute and/or vary outings and experiences, prices and departure times for all the tours without prior notice. However, we will make reasonable efforts to maintain arrangements as advertised on the website.

b. All tour prices provided are provided on a per-person basis unless otherwise stated.

c. Prices do not include personal expenses or travel insurance. For any questions regarding what is included in the tour price, please contact giuditta@intotuscany.com.

3. Requirements to participate in our tours

a. Participants acknowledge and agree that they participate in the tour at their own risk. Into Tuscany does not include personal insurance in their services and highly recommends that customers purchase their own travel insurance. A list of recommended travel insurance companies will be provided once the tour is booked.

b. Participants will be required to agree to and sign a waiver before the tour starts. Failure to comply will result in the cancellation of the participant’s reservation without refund or credit.

c. We strive to make our trips accessible to as many people as possible and will do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions, allergies, medical conditions and other participant’s needs. By joining our trip you agree to communicate with us any  requirements before booking  so we can determine if we can accommodate your needs.

In case of special dietary requirements, participants must communicate these at the time of booking. We will make any reasonable effort to meet dietary requirements; however, given the nature of the tour, we cannot guarantee that all requirements will be met. 

By joining our trips you also affirm that you know of no physical or mental condition that would create a hazard for yourself or others, or affect other participants’ enjoyment of the trip.

Participating in our tours requires a minimum level of fitness and mobility such that you are in the position to walk uphill or climb stairs. Into Tuscany will not be liable for the personal safety of the participant, for the safety of personal items, or for unforeseen events and incidents beyond our control, including (but not limited to) accidents, thefts and illnesses during the tour. Each participant is fully responsible for his/her personal health, medical needs and safety.

4. Your travel plans:

 a. We recommend not booking flights until your trip has been confirmed in writing by us. We cannot compensate for travel arrangements booked before the trip has been confirmed.

b. All the time spent at destination outside of the tour start and end date is at your own expenses. If you arrive late at the designated check-in time, you will have to join the location where the group is at your own expense.

c. The Italian governments requires that your passport have a minimum of 3 months validity at the time of departure from Italy. It is your responsibility to check  your passport and renew it if necessary. We are not able to provide any refund if your access to Italy is denied.

5. Booking and Terms of payment

a. The participant is responsible for providing accurate personal information during the booking process.

b. Payments can be made securely via credit card on our website or by check.

c. Payment for the tour is done in 2 installments: 

a 30% deposit to secure your spot

– the remaining balance is required 120 days before the tour starts

6. Cancellation and refunds policies

a. If you cancel your trip 120 days before the tour starts, you will be fully refunded minus a US $ 250 per person service fee that covers our cancellation costs.

b. If you cancel between 119 and 61 days prior the tour start, you will be 50% refunded.

c. If you cancel within 60 days before the tour starts you won’t be refunded. However you may transfer your reservation to a friend.

d. We cannot issue any refunds or credits for failure to attend or to complete the tour, or for arriving late or early.

e. We do not provide refunds for any part of the trip not used, including (but not limited to) meals, activities or any other services.

f. If the tour is canceled by us, we will fully refund you. If the tour is rescheduled to another date, you can choose to allocate any payments you have made to secure a spot on the new trip dates.
